Congratulations go out to Elaine Halpin (nee Halifax) who graduated in Law from the University of Sydney on November the 26th. 1998. Elaine was in Dow Hill from 1942 to 1948, and thereafter finished her schooling in the U.K., though Elaine considers her roots to be in Dow Hill. The photograph below shows Elaine on the auspicious day. Elaine's friend Joan Talent (on the left) came down from Canberra for Elaine's graduation. Well done Elaine!
